For matters of security, safety, and fairness, we've imposed the following rules and regulations to which, as a client, you must agree to abide by. Please read through them closely so that you understand what your rights and responsibilities as a RigRag client are.
We are likely to make changes and additions regularly as our service expands. Therefore, we suggest you check back as often as you can to make sure you're always up to date. These terms were last changed, added to, or updated on November 1, 2012.
RigRag has a zero tolerance policy for abuse towards RigRag employees or any service provided. Any customer deemed at our sole discretion to be abusive to RigRag employees or any service we provide will be subject to immediate irrevocable account termination without refund. Threats to sue, or of slander, libel, etc, are considered forms of abuse and will result in immediate irrevocable account termination without refund.
RigRag may, at its discretion, suspend or terminate service of any client that is abusive or harassing to RigRag or RigRag staff. Examples of such activity include, but are not limited to:
Although we try our best to minimise potential downtime, we cannot be held responsible for any server outages that may occur or any data loss that may result from this. We recommend that all clients keep regular back-ups of their own files.
All reseller clients hold responsibility for other accounts hosted under their own; all end-user clients and accounts must follow our policies, terms and conditions. Failure to adhere will result in suspension or termination of your account and all accounts under your own, and the possibility a possible fine.
Clients of RigRag must not host, use, or install any of the following content on websites.
As part of our fair usage policy, you must not needlessly create accounts, install scripts or upload files which add space usage without intention of using them. Excessive CPU usage is not permitted, and RigRag reserves the right to remove the account or content if a large CPU is created, or we believe it is not being utilised.
While reseller clients are permitted to host accounts to free, they must not advertise free hosting, or exceed 500MB of storage space for each free hosting account.
RigRag regrettably cannot offer refunds on already registered domain names, service add-ons or dedicated IP addresses, alongside any other permanent or leased product.
While web hosting plans can be cancelled at any time, refunds will only be granted in the form of vouchers for the amount of time remaining on the plan. No refunds will be granted to month-by-month payment plans.
Unmetered or unlimited services mean that RigRag will not closely monitor the amount of space or bandwidth being used unless your account damages the performance or speed of our server.
Reseller clients are not permitted to offer unlimited web hosting packages to end-users without prior consolation to RigRag staff.
